Riverpaw nodded for sure, though he was trying to keep his smile unwavering. " I'm sure of it!" He chriped, liking the idea even though his mind automatically added If nothing else more than because father will almost never let me BE a warrior.... Still, the she cat had given him hope to being a warrior so he wanted to return teh favor as best as he cou;d. He was so exited, in fact, that he wanted to start now. They had to get started! the sooner they started, the faster they learned, adn teh mroe likely they could be warriors with him! Then, maybe then, they COULD all be made warriors with one another. He'd like that... " You know... if you are done with that..." he struggled for the name for teh worm, which made his face flush hot with embarassment, but he quickly made up for it with a shy smile and decided to just continue on " You could get your sister, I could teach you guys stalking today since I found it easy to learn so I should have no problem teaching it." He meowed. ((Feel free to get Iva for this ))

Listening, the kit's head bobbed a bit in agreement, poking the worm once more -- before quickly digging into the gorund a bit, using a paw to slide it into the shallow hole, and covering it over with the dirt once more. So it wouldn't die, hopefully. Then, focus back on Riverpaw, she looked thoughtful for a moment, examining the camp carefully. No signs of Soilkit. Which meant she was in the nursery, or not present. Which, though?
"Alright~ I'll check the nursery. She might not be in camp, though.." A glint of mischief in the red-orange eyes. Staying in camp.. it really was no fun. And Soilkit did leave at times, she knew that. She did, too, afterall. More than she should've. Without giving much opportunity for reply -- atleast, not if Riverpaw took too long to make a response -- she was to her paws; Earthkit giving her brown fur a quick shake, before setting off for the nursery, glancing to see if the apprentice decided to follow or not.
(( She's in bed, so, I'll ask her tomorrow when we're talking~ For now, I'm heading off, too.. sotired. ))

Riverpaw was about to make some normal, kind and exited, Riverpaw comment when she was already off to get her sister. he paused, standing up ackwardly. Should he go with her? he dicded against it, he could wait. besides, he knew that the sisters where close and shared many secrets. At least, thats what was said around camp. So if they wanted to talk... and him barging in would make them dislike him, he could wait. he fnially had a friend... Didn't he? Thats what he thought of Earthkit, or hoped at least. So he would wait. he just streched his limbs and yawned, he had been sleeping way to much.

The apprentice didn't follow, so Earthkit kept on moving, retreating to the nursery and poking her head in. Then, after a second, vanishing entirely into the den. Inside, she found a queen, snuggled and sleeping with her kits, but no Soilkit. Must've meant her sister was out wandering, then. Making no noise, not too keen on disrupting the group, she turned and stepped back out, fiery stare skimming over the camp a couple times. No signs of Soilkit.
So, Earthkit turned, padding back to where she'd ditched Riverpaw, head shaking briefly. "Soilkit's not in the nursery. She's probably somewhere out of camp." Ah, her sister. She seemed to stray a bit too much. She wouldn't be leading anything if she ended up fox-chow. "I wonder when she'll be back. What do you want to do now?" Looking to the apprentice, she sat, quiet for the time. Why did it take so long for kits to turn into apprentices? The day were dragging by.
(( Iva says she'll throw Soilkit in in a bit~ ))

((sounds good.))
Riverpaw shrugged. racking his mind to do something super exiting with Earthkit so that she wouldn't be bored of hanging out with him and go do something else. he knew she wasnt one to hang with friends, and he wanted to at least be one of the few cats she DID hang out with. "Well... uh... I KNOW! I could try teaching you how to stalk prey until your sister gets here." Riverpaw meowed, knowing he could always catch Soilkit up when , if, she came around.

It had been a fairly productive day, and Soilkit was in good spirits. As she was a kit, when one said she a had ‘fairly productive day’, it meant in her own mind- Obviously, she hadn’t hunted or the like, but done things in which she saw more important. Like.. Recon. And observation. And other things normal cats generally didn’t do, especially when kits. High and mighty, she now trotted back into the camp; entering just In time to hear a voice speak of her. Well, she hadn’t at first known it was her..But then she spotted Earthkit. Because she didn’t believe Earthkit had any other siblings she knew about, it was probably her.
“What until I get here..?” She was a happy, interested character- or, atleast, that’s what he voice would portray. That was the case at this current moment, but she could twist her emotions to her liking to a point it was scary. Well, she was usually interested in happy..Just not in the way one would like her to be interested in happy.
Proud pawstep after proud pawstep, she moved toward Earth and River. Well, now, this was a strange sight.. Earth playing with another kit…And not some type of something crawling in or out of the earth. Had Earth found a friend..? How. .Interesting.

"Alright~" Tail swishing once in agreement, the kit nodded at the suggestion of learning to stalk. Really, that couldn't have been the hardest of things. It was just a matter of the right combination of body posture and pawsteps, wasn't it? She's tried stalking before. Privately, of course. Away from the prying eyes of queens and other kits. It wasn't a game; everyone seemed to think it was. Nothing she did was a 'game'. It was all purposeful. Riverpaw had mistaken her worm-prodding session for a game; but he was deemed 'acceptable', and therefore, not verbally-mauled for it.
Then, Soilkit appeared, walking back into camp proudly, asking what they'd said. The earthy-colored kit blinked, and padded forward to brush warmly against her sister, before looping around to her prior spot, staring for a moment silently. "Soilkit~ this is Riverpaw, Riverpaw, Soilkit. We're going to train in-camp with him, it'll help him make sure he doesn't fall behind his apprentice training, and help us learn earlier."
'We're going to'; no room for debate. Soilkit was free to try, but the stubborn brown she-kit was firmly decided upon training with the apprentice. If Soilkit decided not to, so be it. Her loss.

Riverpaw nodded, grinning at Soilkit with his normal cheesy grin... but in fact he was a little shy around teh she cats since he did know they weren't ones to easily make friends. he wanted to be their friends though... since he understood being joined at teh hip with his siblings. Of course... ever since he had seen that rouge with his brother his brother had been missing in action, and Riverpaw tried hard to smush down his intuition that something bad was going to happen. Instead? he was trying to make friends with other cats. "Ya, Im stuck here for a moon because of getting in to a fight with a fox with one of Redwoods kits around but I may as well use this time productivly don't you think?" He meowed, knowing that if these two where any other kits he'd work to keep his language simple but something told him these kits could handle a little higher of language.

With a mild swish of her tail, Soil swept away the words of Earthkit; taking note of them, storing them in her head, and then leaving them for contemplation later. Actually, she didn’t even need too- Earth hadn’t asked a question, but decided that they were off to do something. Alright, fine by Soil- Earth was one of the..Uh..One cat’s who’s opinions she actually respected. So, regardless of how much she didn’t like the demand, she went along with it. If only not to start unpresidented argument.
Her dual coloured eyes landed on Riverpaw. They where curious and observant, and possibly a little prying.. If not for the grin on her face, which changed it all to look more like an interested humorous advance than a dead-serious sizing up. Which it was. Earth seemed to get along with this tom..? It was that fact alone that got her this far.. That, however, was merely the beginning.
She grinned slightly, henceforth saying nothing. As if she maybe hadn’t been listening, when of course she was. “A big strong tom, have we? Off to train and teach us some battle skills, perhaps to fend off foxes?” Keep his language simple? Not needed for Soilkit. She wasn’t even an apprentice and the odd little cat could talk circles around most cats. And how fun it was!
First impression? Good, so far. She had barely bet River, mind you..But he didn’t happen to be one of whom she instantly disliked. Which, honestly, meant a lot- she was beginning to dislike more and more cats as the moons ticked on. She would’ve sat, but it seemed Earth was ready to take off- so she only stood, and nodded a bit. Her grin still remained, but it was apparently one of good hearted amusement.
“Riverpaw. I am Soilkit, as i'm sure you've heard. Nice to meet you.”

Riverpaw grinned- this was good. If he had Soilkits acceptance then they could all move towards friendhsip. He assumed that Soilkit meant a lot to Earthkit and there for her oppionion mattered to the actions of her sister. Thats how he and Tidalpaw had been... once upon a time. Maybe thats why he was trying in this relatinship - it reminded him of the one he had lost. Then, though, who was Tidalkit? he looked to teh tow she cats but with a warm smile his worries passed. As strange , in a good unique interesting way, as they where neither looked to Riverpaw as if they had the potentil to be bad. They weren't as... dark... As Tidalkit had been. He was thankful. Knowing Tidalkits choice was hard. He grinned. "Well hopefully - that way I won't get in trouble again for saving someone frmo a fox. If you two can fight it off on your own that its less trouble for me." He joked - giving a little laugh for good measure. He decided he'd get right to it.... Did they want pleasentries exchanged first? He thought not.... but one could never be to sure. "Do you want to do it right where we are or are you more comfertable doing it somewhere else...?" he asked, not wanting to assume they didn't want otehrs seeing - since he thought that didn't really matter to them.

No arguement. Good, Soilkit. Very good. The only way she'd win the arguement, afterall, would be to simply refuse to train. In which case, Earthkit would ditch her daily for the training time. But, Soilkit wanted to get stronger, didn't she? The sisters were ambitious, even as kits -- training early would feed the ambitions, help them grow in skill. The younger they began training, the more they could -- would -- learn.
A glance at Soilkit's grinning, before it was paid no mind, focus back on Riverpaw. Waiting. "At any rate, Soilkit, he'll get to be made a warrior on time, and we might get to be made warriors early, at the same time. Beneficial." Licking an earthy-colored paw, the kit twitched her whiskers. Worm-flavor paw. It was strange; the worm's taste was ick, but there was an ground-taste to it, too. It was familiar, friendly. Not exactly tasty, however.
"I'm fine with here." Prying eyes of warriors, queens, or anyone else? Let them watch, observe. Whatever they liked. Let them interrupt, and they'd get the greatest tongue-lashing they'd ever received from a kit. Because, really, Earthkit did not play games. Unless worms were involved -- and that was no game, it was learning. How did worms survive beneath the earth? They were blind, wiggly pink creatures. Who happened to die above ground.
Strange, strange.

((Ha ha I don't know if I should be posting every other post but AH WELL. ))
Riverpaw nodded, taking Earthkits words as that everything was going well. That was good, very good. He had friends. They where friends right? Well they where still around - and surely they wouldn't if they didn't want to be friends. Riverpaw wanted friends... Ahe always had. For a social tom hijm and Tidalpaw had been hated for misunderstandings far to long. Riverpaw would never hurt anyone. He never wanted to hurt anyone... He wanted to be loved. He wanted to be wanted. "Alright well this is what my mentor showed me, but I'm not very good. I'll still try to teach you guys. It can't be a bad thing right?" He meowed, cheerfully. He grinned from ear to ear. He was exited, but he was trying not to show it and remain calm and mature. But he was happy. He had been happy for the first time since he was a kit with Cherrykit and now he was happy all the time, making friends. Had the bump on his head made him friendly? Or was it that Tidalpaw was never around anymore? He bent down, keeping his paw weight even, and keeping his tail low to the gorund but not touching. He relayed to Earthkit and Soilkit both of those points. "And when you step you want to watch where your going and avoid anything that cna make a lot of noise." He meowed, realising he remembered his mentors training more than he thought he had.
