BRamblepaw skittered in the shallow waters of a small stream. freedom! she felt so pleased to be an apprentice! and riverpaw with her as well! she splashed the water and the droplets flew up in a glittering arc from her sodden paws.
she liked this, it was the first time she could be truly alone. before there had ALWAYS been cats around and she could get some level of peice before but nothing like this! she pounced onto the dry grass and rolled onto her back, streching her body into a long arc along the soft grass before finaly releasing the stretch and flopping down happy in her own thoughts...

minnowkit sat in the middle of camp, getting in everyone's way. she has been very bored ever seince bramblepaw became and apprentice. willowkit came up behind her. "you dont have to sat around like the lonliest cat in the clans..." willowkit meowed sharply. "you never play with me either!" minnowkit protested. "thats because i play with heatherkit and the others like a normal kit would. if you miss bramblepaw so much, why dont you go find her?" willowkit teased. minnowkit's eyes lit up with excitment. "thats a great idea!" she whipped around and looked at willowkit. willowkit watched a butterfly go by then looked back at minnowkit. "if you get in trouble, dont blame meee!" willowkit called as she raced after the butterfly. minnowkit looked around, making sure no one was watching her, then stalked out of camp.

Bramblepaw missed one thing about being a kit, and that was all the playing, she was happy to be an apprentice but you didnt have time to play! and when you did no one else was free to play with you. she smiled any way, she wouldnt let this drab grey thought ruin her mood... she scrambled to her feet and peering into the water, hoping to catch some fish...

minnowkit sneaked around toward where she smelled bramblepaw. the tall grass was hiding her so no one could see her. she peered through a gap when she heard the river. a bit away bramblepaw was fishing. minnowkit slowly padded up behind bramblekit and..."gottcha!" she jumped on bramblepaw..

(XD sorry for not replying for AGES! i must have accidentaly deleted it from my book marks  ) bramblekit leaped into the air and tipped forward. the splash covered her yowl of suprise. she stood up, dripping, a fie fat fish darrting aay down stream "wha-?! oh hey!! your not meant to be out here minnowkit!" she wasnt that much in diffirence of size, minnowkit being an older kit and bramblepaw only being a younge apprentice. "your nott an apprentice? are you!?" |
