"Fine then!" she mewed and started running. Rocks and sharp pebbles stabbed at her already scratched paws as the orange cat ran towards the brightening light. As the light shone over her head, after what seemed like an eternity of running, Petalpaw leaped upward and landed awkwardly on all fours in the bright light of dawn. "Come on!" she mewed down as she looked straight down in the tunnel waiting for her brown friend.

Gorsetalon ran after her, but his leg grew worse the more he ran. All he needed to do was rest it, but currently he couldn't. He watched as Petalpaw ran more and more out of sight, escaping the jaws of the fox. He wheeled around and saw the fox barreling at him. Snarling, he leaped at the fox, that was only an adolescent. It yelped in surprise, but quickly regained itself. Leaping again at the fox, Gorsetalon raked his claws down the foxes nose. Hissing, he tried to back away slowly while the fox was still stunned.

Petalpaw's white ear pinned to her head as she heard the start of the fight. She hopped back down and pulled on Gorsetalon's tail, her eyes looking at the fox, but not as afraid as she thought she would be. She was just worried that her friend wouldn't make it out. The orange apprentice slipped underneath the brown warrior and started pushing him backwards. "Hurry up!" she mewed as she pushed him to the hole "Up! Up, now!" she mewed as she heard the mumbled growling of the fox waking up "And your going first this time!"

Gorsetalon pinned his ears back, not listening to Petalpaw. He grabbed her by her scruff, as she was pretty light. He got in front of her again. "I told you to get out. I'm coming. I can fight for myself." The fox came at him again, and Gorsetalon leaped at it's throat. Instead, he knocked the fox off it's feet. Gorsetalon turned around quickly, bolting for the hole. He pushed Petalpaw up, sorta helping her. He leaped up, his leg slightly crumpling beneath him. "Go now! And don't you dare get behind me!"

(I hope its okay that I am jumping in  ) Dustpaw was exploring his new home. Suddenly he hered fight noises of cats he runs towards them than he saw Petalpaw and Gorsetalon two Cats of his Clan theye were fighting with a fox ! the tom shivered and can´t take a step towards them the fox hasn´t seen him jet he thought Maybe....I can tourn around and go away his heart raced like a trapped birds heart. He wanted to hit himeself for thinking this and for beeing affraid. Be like your Brother he thought than and breathing a last time Petalpaw Gorsetalon he shouted as he sawing the fox attacking again and jumped forwards his legs pulls him straight forward to help his clan mates. Dustpaws tooth and claws dug into the foxes fur and he try to not fall of the fox as the fox starting to get him away from his back . |

"Don't be mouse-brained! she mewed as she was pushed up the hole" Out of the corner of her forest green eyes she saw Dustpaw coming over to the hole. "If he can help I can too!" the orange apprentice mewed as she hopped back down and pushed Gorsetalon back to his feet. "Listen, were smaller and faster than you. Get out now and we'll follow you up in a minute" she mewed not taking no for and answer and as her fellow apprentice clung to the red dog like creature's back she slipped under the fox's stomach and bit into it's hind-leg. As the fox kicked out its hind-leg it's claws caught her eyebrow and cut it open. With drops of blood dripping into her left eye Petalpaw smiled as it wobbled Hopefully Gorsetalon is smart and won't jump in. We've almost got it! she thought with a small smile on her face.

Gorsetalon snarled. 'Stupid apprentices! Thinking they can do everything!' He glared viciously at the new comer. 'Another one I have to save! Even better!' Growling, he leaped back to the fox. "Get out of here! I can handle a fox by myself! He saw Petalpaw's blood and narrowed his eyes. He pulled her away, growling. "Leave!" He did the same with Dustpaw, growling. He leaped at the fox, and clawed at it's face. The fox yelped, but lunged back, catching Gorsetalon's leg in its mouth. Growling, He caught its eye with his one free paw and it let go, shaking its head from the pain. He backed away a few steps, pelt bristling. His leg felt hot and sticky from the blood, and heat flared up it from the pain. But he was used to ignoring pain, so he barely reacted to it.

(yeah thats fine  ) Dustpaw glared at Gorsetalon angrily Do you realy think you could fight against a fox alone did you even think you can Fly ? his neck fur rises up please Petalpaw wait her he was a small cat but the younger ginger tabby she cat was even smaller than he I know you are a good apprentice but you practice first 3 moons long please stay her it is saver he realy like the young tabby she cat with the soft green eyes realy much and he wont forgive himeself if she gets hurt than he jumps forward and bite in the foxs hind paw blood flowed into the grey toms mouth. that the fox must stop biting the brown tabby tom. with all his power he could lay the fox on his back and started Biting and scratching his belly the fox yelped. |

Petalpaw's fur bristled as she was pulled away from the fight. Even the second apprentice told her to stay there. "Your not much better than I am!" she mewed and leaped towards Gorsetalon and started pushing him "You need to hurry up and get out, now." As the fox snatched it's jaws at her tail. The orange she flicked her tail away just in time and she flicked her claws at the fox's maw, scratching it deeply in the nose

He limped forward, growling at the younger tom. "Who is the warrior here!?" He looked to Petalpaw and saw her move her tail out of the way just in time. In the short time he had talked to her, he had started to consider her as a... friend. He leaped forward, in front of Petalpaw as the the snapped it's jaws. It had just missed Gorsetalon's shoulder, but he clawed back. Yelping, the fox started to backaway, possibly almost defeated by the three cats? I'm alone, I'm alone, I'm alone. "Get away from the fox you mouse-brain!".

MousbrainsDustpaw growled and shakes his head than he attacks the fox for a last time he hits his claws in the foxs body than the big red fox finaly runs yelping away should we follow him ? he looks to his two clan mates. he turns his head to patelpaw yes I am a way better than you he smiled challenging and shokes his head. I am just joking he added precaution. he realy like the young she cat.

Petalpaw snickered "Mousebrain? Who you callin' mousebrains? You were the one who wouldn't let me help you. And you" she mewed turning her head towards the other apprentice, "You wanna bet on that?" she asked snickering and jumped out of the hole. Leaning down, the orange she smiled at Gorsetalon and sent a small glance toward Dustpaw before reaching her paw down incase her brown friend needed help. "I'm Petalpaw by the way"

Gorsetalon narrowed his eyes at Petalpaw. "Yes, well.... I was fine!" He looked away, then shot a glare at Dustpaw. he felt a snarl rise in his throat. "I was dealing with that fox just fine before you came! So don't go gloating like you saved the whole world!" He bared his teeth at the other MarshClan apprentice, his eyes flickering between Dustpaw and Petalpaw. Then he saw Petalpaw leap out of the hole, and ignoring her paw, scrambled up beside her, blood still oozing around the wound on his leg. "Are you okay?" He spoke to Petalpaw only, a small flicker of worry quickly showing his eyes, but it disappeared almost as fast as it came, making you wonder if it was even there.

Dustpaw laughs I would never dare that Petalpaw his grey fur smoothed out now. than he turns to the brown warrior anger was in his belly wide than he snarled I never say that you didn´t deal well with the fox Dustpaw grins But it is stupid to think you don´t need help he said with a disdainful hidden undertone. He don´t like the brown tom he thought he was a old arrogant cat. But whats now with the fox ? he asked looking in the direction in which he had disappeared.
