Cricketkit Temporary camp-area of clans. Shivering.. shaking. The kit peered across the temporary camp -- not even a camp, just a little area.. where everyone happened to be gathering and staying for the time. Exposed, out in the open.. it was some kind of.. makeshift camp. Nnn! He didn't like it. He missed the nursery, the corners of the camp.. those quiet little crevices he could find the hide that he'd known for his entire two-moons of life. The whole situation made him feel very uncomfortable. The earthquake had destroyed his home, no matter how short of a time he'd lived their, and taken away his family. Albiet, he had not been close to his family. His mother had nearly disowned him, even. Shifting a bit, the grayscale kit let his short pelt puff up, fluffy tail growing even more so as it curled forward around his chest. Cricketkit was.. alone. Off, crouched between a couple of rocks and a small shrub that offered some sort of hideout to him. Quiet and watching, wide-eye'd, as the other survivors went about, doing whatever it was they were doing at that moment. One happened to pass close by, and he pretty much chirped in surprise, coiling back further and pinning his ears. Strangers! All over! Most of the cats here.. weren't even his clan. Maybe one in every.. four cats were his clanmates. Not that he was close to his clanmates, either. He wasn't. The kit was surprisingly reclusive for a two moon old. Eww, dirt! The kit shifted, lifting a paw, and swiping his tongue over it a few times. One.. two.. three. Three swipes. Three. A good number. Then, over his head the paw went, rubbing at the spot that felt as though it might've been dirty. He really didn't like being out here.

Bluekit Wandering, along and away..The silvery kit had left Raccoonheart’s side, for once, studying the small bit of vegetation that he was all but completely amazed by. Look, grass! Did he remember grass..? Probably not. Truth be told, he couldn’t remember much before he had been found by the scouts.. He was only two moons as is. Everything was just sort of a..Blur. Was he possibly less developed than other two moon olds? It was a possibility. After all, other two-moon old kits seemed to be able to talk and things..Him, not so much. He was learning fast, though. He was even taking his first steps way from ‘Coon! Did he realize it? No..Probably not. In truth, the warrior who was now what he fully believed to by his ‘Mommy’ was probably just a rock or two away. He himself had wandered off, mystified by the greener. This mystification kept him from running back in terror. Really..He disliked being away from ‘Coon. It was a bit more standable when he didn’t know he was away from ‘Coon, though. Oh! What was that..? Stopping in his swatting of a leaf, he turned; duel-toned green eyes catching sight of the other kit. He..Had never seen another kit before, so you could just imagine his amazement. Another cat..That wasn’t bigger than him? Just about his size.. It was so..Strange! Time to go investigate. Without thinking of dirt or mess or fear or any of those things. Just wiggled right up, head tilting a bit and tail giving a few inquisitive slashes. He didn’t say anything, as he really..Didn’t know how..But the intense curiosity and staring sort of made up for words. “Kit?” Kit! Probably..

"Oh, so.. so.. bad.. bad, bad, bad!" The kit whined patheticly, lifting a tiny paw to rub it over his head repeatedly. Not just slide it over, as most would -- but to franticly drag it back and forth over the same spot, ruffling and resmoothing the fur, then licking the paw and repeating several more times, green eyes squeezed shut, expression something of pure distaste. "Nnnn!" He shivered disapprovingly, scrawny form folding in on itself as he twisted to rapidly rake his tongue down his spine, making a small 'puh' sound at the loose bits of fur. Oh, how focused the tiny kit seemed to be -- deadset on the grooming process, not daring to stray from it. He felt dirty. So filthy. As if his whole body was coated in mud and dirt and germs. Poke! The kit almost fell over himself, flinging sideways, short pelt on-end, eyes widened from their prior shut state, a quick 'chirp' of fear rising. Of course, it turned out to just be the bush he'd settled next to, a branch prodding into his fur when he leaned too far in the direction in his avid grooming.
The kit shuddered, grayscale body rocking dramatically with the motion. A voice. It startled him even more than the bush. Instantly, the just-settling kit was back on his paws, body craning backwards, but paws remaining firmly planted where they were in some strange form of a cower, ears falling back, eyes widened. Chrrr-pp! Staring. It was another kit, but it's approach was enough to freeze him in horror, aside from the backwards cowering, that continued up until his hind couldn't go further back without his legs and he toppled into a sit, scooting back even further at this, large, fluffy tail wrapping around himself, twitching spazzishly. "..Uhh..?" Kit. The other kit had.. said 'kit'. Yes, he was a kit; he didn't exactly understand the one-worded question. Shudder-twitch, Cricketkit shivered with uncertainty, one eye blinking shut for a moment, the same ear falling backwards. Nnnnn. Fear! Flee! Flee! "Nnn..chrr.." ..Were kits supposed to chirp? No, not as a rule. Starclan only knew why the kit seemed to chirp when startled -- but it turned out to be his namesake.

Faintpaw shifted, her eyes franticly running around as clanmates of all kinds scuttled around camp doing whatever is needed to be done. Her eyes were dilated and curious, she was surprised herself that she strayed from her brother's side alone and quiet sitting on the side of the camp clearing. And quite frankly it felt down right wrong. She always stayed with her sibling, simply protecting him without he himself acknowledging it. She sighed twitching her long dark tail to the side. Everyone currently are busy and apparently don't have the time to speak to an lonely apprentice. She couldn't just stand there and look pretty. She needed to do something, act. She needed a higher ranking clan cat to tell her to do something. Something to ease her restlessness.
Her paw twitched, in attempt to calm her nerves she lifted it and brushing it over her rough tongue. Trying to groom herself and relax. She quietly streaked the paw over her muzzle and face trying to feel refresh and clam yet this didn't at all help. Faintpaw licked her lips looking across from the camp when she spotted two kits, appearing to be no older then two moons. She blinked watching as the pair seemed to squeak at eachother, untilthe one cowering the most chirped so loudly it made Faintpaw's each twitch in annoyance. She sighed standing up and padding lightly over to the kit's her eyes warm and gentle. "Well hello there little ones..."

Okay. It was a kit, after all! A kit just like him! Only..Not like him. He was grey. This kit was grey and white and black and.. Oh, look! He had green eyes, too, just like Bluekit! How smart was he, for observing all this? But..There was something strange about this kit. He was acting weird, wasn’t he..? Bluekit thought it over for a moment. Yes, he was. He didn’t see anyone else or the other kits go about as he did, with the dirt flinging and the falling back and..Everything else. What did this mean? Nothing to Bluekit, who just purred in amusement and took a few..more..steps forward. “Bluekit! That’s..me!” Talking..For a two moon old, one would assume he would know more..But he didn’t. Maybe his real mother hadn’t raised him right. Maybe he was a runt..? One wouldn’t know for sure unless they had seen the rest of the litter and his mother..Which would never happen, for he was a scentless Russian Blue. No clues of clan, place, or anything other than the fact he was himself.
“Chhhrrr-pp!” That was weird noise. He liked it! “Chhrr-pp!, Chrrrp-pp!” Mocking..? Sort of. He didn’t know he was doing it, though. “Purrr, rrrr, rrrr!” He could make his own noises, too, see..? Bluekit might not’ve been especially intelligent yet, really. But he was..Unbelieveable playful and loving. He seemed to think the other kit was amazing already, just for the strangeness. Did he feel like fleeing..? He would probably feel even more like fleeing when Bluekit neared even close, almost pouncing..But coming to a stop, instead, to freeze and look up. Another cat had come over. He didn’t know her, yet. He didn’t know many, though..Just Mommy and Daddy and Sister and..This chirpy kit! Chrr-pp, chrr-pp! “Chhrr-pp!” See, large apprentice cat? He could chirp, too!

Faintpaw giggled lightly, her gaze scanning over the small kit's hyper face. The kit look so happy, so full of life. This thought hit her like a rock, Happy. Life? Faintpaw's ever going emptiness seemed to grow, all the cat's were to leave for the journey to a new home. And these kits were never to be 'Happy' in the place where she grew up. She sighed deeply, her eyes stayed right yet her mood faltered. " Like a little bird are we?" She smiled weakly hoping he saddness won't rub onto the little to-be warriors. " And You..." She gave another smile to Cricketkit. " Come on. I won't hurt you." She held out her paw, motioning it toward a free space next to her. She didn't want anyone of them to be paranoid in the ranks of their temporary 'Clan'
