Shadowfire ll Located in Camp at the Moment
The tom's ears flicked back, listening to the sounds of his new clan mates. He corrected himself then, old and new clan mates. he frowned for a moment, still he had not raised enough nerve to talk to his old clan mates. Afraid of course. He wasn't sure what they would actually think. Really, what would you think if your beloved dead kit hood friend had suddenly re appeared, wanting them to be where they stood before. Old memories surfaced in Shadowfire's head, specifically about Sparrowflight. Now that he knew she was alive, he slept a little better every night. Still. The night mares came. He shivered at the thought of them. The pond. The crocodile. Finchstar laying on the ground with the blood gushing out from him. The sight of Harley. Manipulating him. Suddenly he got up, brushing some of the dirt caked onto his fur off with his tail a bit, not caring really if he cleaned himself in the proper way. He never did things in the proper way anymore. Wait, scratch that. He had NEVER done it properly before. Because he had never been trained to act as a clan cat. And if he had and just didn't remember, it was long forgotten in his memory.

Faintpaw shifted her wieght with each paw. It was odd no being with her sibling she rarely left his side, but at this exact moment she needed to be alone. Someplace where she could think and fornately for her a quick once around the camp for a small walk seemed to do quite well with he conscious. The young apprentice looked up just in time to see a warrior, his face seemed to e distorted in thought.
Approaching silently Faintpaw stepped towards the Tom her ears pricked forward. "Alot to think about huh?" She mewed softly, her eyes sparkling with faint intrest.

Shadowfire jumped back with surprise, his back fur spiked up in hostility. Once he recognized the young cats face though was when he relaxed, letting his spiked fur slowly flatten. Though, his fur always looked spiky. "Oh its you." he said cooly, licking his fur. He recognized her. Faintpaw. Though; he couldnt put his paw on what clan she was from. "Yes. Times have changed. Cats have died. Cats have been born. Lost to think about." he agreed, side glancing at a cat who had just exited their makeshift camp.

Faintpaw didn't flinch at the tom's hostile actions, she actually expected it. If a cat didn't jump at an random cat approaching then their merely slow at thought.
Faintpaw smiled lightly, she carried a heavy burden on her shoulders, keeping her family settle and open yet still have the agony of her home torn away so easily. Yet Faintpaw kept a steady face, her eyes having the usual brightness of a regular apprentice. She padded over to the Tom and sat Elegantly next to the warrior Tom. "Aggreed." She said simply, wrapping her long tail around her body for comfort. " We just need to figure out what's more important."

He snorted. "Cats have all ready figured that out. Whats important now is we find the remaining survivors and find a steady water supply. If you asked me though, I'd say we hit the road long ago instead of waiting on some pitiful half-starved cats to gobble up all the little prey we have and SLOWLY; very slowly recover." he let out a snort, but relaxed a bit, and sat down, licking his fur. "I sound very harsh dont I?" he threw a lazy glance back at the apprentice and half snorted, half laughed. "Never mind. Dont need that answer." He lazily watched a tree swish back and forth from the wind. "So. Whats your story?" he questioned. "Every cat's got one. But it's hard to find a story that's not so depressing." he muttered.

Faintpaw listened to the Tom rant, quietly watching his expression with intrest. She smiled giggling. " Not much actually...." She shifted on her paws trying to keep her usual emotionless face on. " Born without a mother, struggling to keep my sibling alive. And then when things finally start to look up..." She trialed off staring at a flutter leaf, her eyes seemed to distance before she shook her body and snorted in a huff. "S-Sorry trailed off there didn't I?" She sighed smiling weakly at Shadowfire.

He snorted. "Yes yes you did. So? A sob story. Ahh. Too many of those now a days." he muttered with a sigh. "So your Faintpaw." he stated, scanning her with his narrowed eyes. "Hmmmm...A few extra pounds wouldnt hurt." he pointed out with a joking laugh. "So. Your from Marshclan." he sniffed at her, half interested, half bored. "Who's your apprentice?" Before she could even think about answering he started again. "I was never given a mentor." he explained with a small scowl of jealousy. "No nice cat to bond with through my apprentice years really." he laughed then. "A cat named Harley trained me. Trained me to be vicious and kill on sight." he explained. "After I left her little band of misfits; I kinda stuck to my monster personality..." His eyes widened. He was opening up. For the very first time he was opening up to someone. The last cat he had opened up to was Blossom...He refused to confess to his daughter about his feelings, though. "I-I...I joined a group of rogues that called them self a clan." he snorted. "They called them selves Thunderclan. Really? Most stupid clan name I ever heard! They were pitiful really-and once I was old enough I left them." he laughed. "I use to be a pain in a neck when I was your age, Faintpaw." His snorted and continued, watching a butterfly. "Like I said-I left. Then I met this beautiful she cat named Blossom-she had the most prettiest brown fur and the most lightest, sea green eyes I've ever seen before..." he sighed. "She taught me to keep my monstrous personality locked away inside me and soon, we confessed are love for each other. A while after that she confesses she is carrying my kit...After she's born though-she grew up real fast.......I-I...Blossom left soon after Lily, thats her name, grew to be your age..." He tried to smile at the apprentice but wasn't able to. "So now you know how screwed up my life is now." he muttered.

Faintpaw listened intently, her eyes focusing on the Tom. She blinked about to speak when he cut in. She merely brushed this gesture off and continued to listen to his story, understand. She then noticed he started to concede to her. She blinked her face expressionless. She shurgged smiling weakly at him. " Tell me about it. Loss of a family member or something more is always painful even if they join starclan or not. " She sighed twitching her ear to the side lashing her tail to bat the ground near the base of the camp. She shoot the older tom a quick grin. " I have always told my brother that when things are at it's worse there will always be an end, a light at the end of a gloomy dark tunnel. "
She laughed halfheartedly tipping her ears down. " I just believe we haven't reached the end of that tunnel yet..."

He snorted. "Theres a lot to come-thats for sure!" he exclaimed, flicking his tail. "So. Dont you have any silly apprentice stuff to deal with right about now?" He questioned, getting up very slowly and stretching a bit, taking his time. "Very interesting talk we've had. You seem like a good listener." he complimented. "Not a big talker though." he added with a snort.
