Saprrowflight backed up. "I can't just say that. I didn't say 'I couldn't love you', just that I don't feel that way right now." She looked away. "That's not really something I can control. Maybe I'm not looking for love right now. I will always give you a chance... " She lowered her voice. "I think i need to go now." She could feel emotions rushing over.

He knew. He knew she needed time alone. To think. Maybe scream her frustrations out to the sky. Pondering exactl who she should choose maybe when the time came. Wolfstep. Or him. In his heart he wanted her to pick him. So bad. But... He couldnt help but thinks the odds were in Wolfsteps favor. She'd grown close to him over the years. And Shadowfire had only recently been reunited with the clans. "When your done thinking, Sparrowflight, you know where to find me." he said softly. "In the shadows." he whispered. "I'll see you later." he promised, walking away slowly. He knew. He knew she'd never pick one. But, hey, there was nothing against hoping..
