||Faithpaw||Just outside of the Hollow Mountain Base|| Exploring||
Surprising, sunlight managed to slip through the dark gray storm clouds that marched through the sky, proclaiming a dreary day for the clanners. Faithpaw had wandered off the base of Mount Hollow, curious to see what lay beyond. She didn't stray too far, she knew snakes slithered around these parts, all too well. She owed her life to Goldenpaw, who had saved her. Any other time, the clans wouldn't have pulled together like this. But desperate times, called for desperate measures, right? Or, maybe the clans had always been to separate, perhaps they had been meant to be just a bit closer, because it didn't make sense to create four clans just to have them die from fighting with each other, when they could have bonds that helped them all survive.
That was Faithpaws viewing, at least. Some would say a little 'kit' like her shouldn't think about things that large, but she'd seen too many deaths to be called an innocent little kit, she knew things she probably shouldn't even know about the world. She had matured more than most cats ever would at her young age. Nevertheless, she still had a strong sense of adventure, and that soon filled her heart as she sniffed around the seemingly barren wastelands, pondering what used to be here, before it dried out. Or maybe this had always been such a dreary, cold , and wasting place. A scent wafted past her muzzle, snapping the young apprentice out of her deep thoughts. Might as well hunt if she's out, right? This scent was odd, but slightly familiar, she wanted to find out what this creature was~ It smelled like a rodent, but a bit bigger than a mouse, and she couldn't hear any shuffling around, maybe it was sleeping? A nocturnal creature would be an easy catch for an apprentice~
