Open to all whom want to say their farewells



Adderfall sighed deeply, her eyes trained on the silent setting sun. Her long elegant tail waving back and forth to her side. The darkening sky setting a milky atmosphere on her bright orange pelt. She hated being alone most of the time, but right now she need to think. All of the clans were going to move very soon, most likely leaving their old home forever.

This very thought stabbed Adderfall's heart like a thorn. She took in a deep breathe and pressed her paws deep into the soft grass, wanting to hold to it tight and never let go. Unfortunately for her the small tuft of grass was one of few things that grew in the barren parts of Mount Hollow and quite frankly it was sharp and dry sticking to the insides of her pads with a sharp prick. She snorted lifting her paws and shaking the clingy grass away. Adderfall sniffed as she felt the cool breeze of the night.

Aspenrun looked around. She didn't know any of the cats from the other clans, and only a few from StormClan. She had been alone for most of her life, since her family and friends had been killed by a dog. Reed... The young tom still lingered on her mind. She wasn't even sure if he had survived, but having that hope that he had was the only thing keeping her going. She saw a she-cat who she recognized, so she must have been a StormClan cat. She padded up to her, her thick tail low to the ground. "Nice evening, isn't it?"

Aspenrun looked at the darkening sky, sighing, so much had changed. Everything used to be so simple, but now, as Aspenrun listened to all the sounds going on around her, nothing seemed simple.

<sub> Adderfall turned slightly surprised by the other she-cat. "Yes..Yes it is..." Adderfall trained her gaze onto the seething sun and let out a heavy sigh. Her heart was once again stabbed by pain and guilt. The pain that she would most likely never see her old home again and guilt that she wouldn't be able to show, if she had any kits the place where she was found on the border before she joined the clans. She blankly smiled to herself that thought instantly bringing a flood of memories. She blinked after awhile of silence and turned back to the she-cat " Want to sit down? Frankly I dislike being alone at the moment..." She gave a weak and feeble smile.

Aspenrun sat down and nodded. "Being alone isn't good when so much has happened recently. It's all so strange to me." She sighed, thinking of all the moons she had been by herself, vainly searching for anyone she knew, and she had found the clans. She didn't need to be alone after that.

Adderfall smiled, her eyes bringing a faint warmth of a light. " Yes. So much as happened lately...." She took a heavy intake of air and flicked her ears to the side. A faint wind blowing over her pelt making a shiver creep up her spine.

Aspenrun nodded, and looked around. She saw a brown tom, Gorsetalon, padding out of camp. She narrowed her eyes, then turned back to Adderfall. "Who's that?" She flicked her tail to where Gorsetalon was quickly padding away, her eyes training on his broad figure.

Adderfall turn towards where Aspenrun was looking at nearly laughed. "That my dear is te Troubled Tom " She newer huskingly to her companion. "Always seems to have a thorn in his paw"

Aspenrun continued to watch Gorsetalon until his shape disappeared. "I.... I recognize him. What clan is he from?" Her pelt prickled and her eyes had an odd light to them, almost hope, and excitement. "Why is he troubled?" She shook her head, sighing.
