"Apprentices!~" she squeaked happily, giving a little bounce and seeing him puff up, she giggled, "MY HERO!" tail frisking softly against him playfully.

"Now which den it is?" Darkkit asked looking from den to den. He knew it couldn't be too hard to find even if littermates didn't find it right away. Spotting the apprentice den, or at least the den he thought was the apprentice den, Darkkit's eyes twinked. "Race ya!" He mewed running as fast as his tiny legs would carry him.

Cherrykit twitched curiously as she looked for the apprentice's den; as befuddled as her bouncy, bumbling brother. (Alliterations for the win~) Then, she gave a start of surprise as he suddenly took off and, giggling, she sprang after the larger kit, "Hey! No fair!!" purring and panting as she ran.

"I never said it would be fair!" Darkkit purred as he pelted into the den. "Umm, Cherrykit.." He mewed quietly. "I don't think this is the apprentice's den." Darkkit looked around, there was only one nest in the den and it smelled of only one cat. "I think we're in the leader's den." Darkkit's eyes brightened in delight and wonder.

Cherrykit, amongst the excitement of the race and everything, didn't notice that they were leaping towards the leader's den until they were inside it. Her eyes widened hugely and she began to shake in fear, "Oooh! What if EndlessStar gets so mad he eats us?!" backing up a bit to head out the entrance ever so slowly.

Excitment lite a fire in Darkkit's belly. "EndlessStar? Who is EndlessStar? I'm Darkstar, leader of BrookClan!" He bounced and stood on the edge of the nest holding his head high. "If any Clan tries to stop us we'll shred their ears!"

Cherrykit's rounded, "Darkstar! Can I be your deputy?! Being leader sounds like hard work, and Cherrystar just sounds weird!!" she pulled a face.

Cherrykit squealed happily, giving an excited bounce, "Yay DEPUTY!" giggling like mad as she bounced around him. Then she froze and tried to compose her quivering self though she was extremely happy and honored. "Can my name be Cherrybounce?~" she giggled.
A dilemma! "Hrm...How about digging at the edges of the water to funnel it back?" thoughtfully licking her whiskers.

Hoping down from the nest edge Darkkit tripped over his own paw and tumbled right past his sister. He skipped to a hult just beside the den entraces and recovered quickly. "That sounds like a great idea!" He bouched back up on his paws and padded around the den like he owned it. "Cherrybounce, we'll have to do this by the cover of night, that way no animal sees us. It'll only be you and me to take on this mission and we'll have to work fast. Because we're small and stuff, but that won't stop us from victory!"

Cherrykit fluffed up in surprise and rushed to her brother's aid quite swiftly in her sudden fear of him getting harmed. Sniffing him all over and pokeing and prodding at him to see if he was alright, the she-kit stepped back with a nod of satisfaction to see Darkkit in tip-top shape. CherryBOUNCE laughed and stalked around the tom, tongue sticking out in concentration and tail lashing in excitement, "We'll catch those big, ungly brownsters!! And take back whats ours!!" a small howl of triumph as she imagined her warriors flaying all the nasty creatures and becoming quite victorious.

"With you by my side and StarClan watching, we will provail!" Darkkit pelted out of the den and into the camp clearing. "How will we get past the guards without being seen?" He asked.

Cherrykit bounced after her brother and saw two warriors posted by the entrance. Puffing up, the she-kit huffed indignantly, "Work around them with my charms?~" purring playfully and nipping her brother.

Darkkit stiffled a laugh. "Not looking like that you aren't!" He purred at his sister and the way she looked like a living ball of fluff. He padded over and smoothed the fur on her head. "If we are going to get past them we have to wait for the right moment. I think we can get past them without them seeing us."

"Right!" she beamed as he helped her smooth down then listened eagerly. Darkkit was smart! Cherrykit nodded and eagerly watched the guards to see when they weren't paying attention. One looked out away from the into the territory and a crunch was heard like a stick broke. Now both were looking that way. "Quick!" she hissed softly, nudging her brother and beginning to slip out behind them.
